About
Nine years, one hundred students.
I started out reading Medicine at UCL. After third year, I intercalated, graduating with a first-class BSc in Medical Sciences with Surgical Sciences — I was placed on the Dean’s List and won a prize for my research project. I then spent a year in clinical placements before deciding it wasn’t how I wanted to spend a career. I later took up postgraduate acting training at Guildhall, Identity and Mountview, finishing at the latter with an MA (Distinction.) I have written for the stage and worked as a professional actor on the West End, as well as for the BBC and ITV.
It's an odd combination, but it comes together well. The science degree is why families trust me with maths, biology and medical applications; the drama training is how I can make tricky (or perhaps dull) subjects entertaining. Since 2017 I have tutored full-time — around a hundred students, from five-year-olds preparing for the 7+ to postgraduates finishing dissertations.

Classroom
Three years at Lionheart, an interim education centre; A-Level biology support groups at a London academy; group workshops for Yellowbird Education; and my own 11+ group classes.
One to one
Nine thousand hours of one-to-one, preparing candidates for St Paul’s, Westminster, King’s, Eton, Winchester, City of London, Latymer, UCS, Godolphin and Brighton, among others — plus support for students with dyslexia, dyscalculia, dyspraxia, autism and selective mutism.
