E verything here was built for my students and is free to use. I find spatial reasoning is where written practice falls short, so these four tools let children manipulate the question objects in 3D space to train their vision. I'd always encourage them to attempt a question on their own before making use of the tools, because these can solve problems without much effort.

Cube Net Folding
Create a cube net, add markings to each face and watch it fold into a cube. Rotate the finished object to see exactly which faces meet and where each symbol ends up.

Decorate a cube and turn it freely in three dimensions. Capture different viewpoints to compare how the same faces and markings appear after the cube has been rotated.

Cube Counting
Build three-dimensional stacks from different cube-based pieces, then inspect what is hidden. Use X-ray, colour-by-piece and layer controls before revealing the final count.

Fold a sheet of paper, punch a shape through the folded layers and then unfold it step by step to reveal the complete pattern created by the punch.

The Proofreading Club
Ages 9–11Read a passage from a classic book or a new story and find the ten mistakes hidden in it: spelling, punctuation, grammar and capital letters, corrected in place as you read. Word meanings are there when you need them, and the words you keep build your own glossary.
