Cancellation Policy

1. Introduction This cancellation policy outlines the terms and conditions for cancelling scheduled tutoring sessions. By booking a tutoring session with NB Tuition, clients agree to the terms outlined in this policy.

2. Cancellation Window Clients may cancel or reschedule a tutoring session without penalty if they provide notice at least 48 hours before the scheduled session start time.

3. Cancellation Fees a) If a client cancels a scheduled tutoring session within 48 hours but more than 24 hours before the session start time, they will be charged 50% of the session fee. b) If a client cancels a scheduled tutoring session within 24 hours of the session start time, they will be charged the full session fee.

4. Payment of Cancellation Fees Cancellation fees will be charged with the lessons on the client’s next invoice. Invoice payment must be made within 14 days of receipt.

5. Exceptions to Cancellation Fees NB tuition may, at their sole discretion, waive or reduce cancellation fees.

6. Late Arrival and No-Show Policy If a student arrives more than 20 minutes late for a scheduled tutoring session, it will be considered a "no-show": the session will not take place and the full session fee will be charged. If a student fails to attend a scheduled tutoring session without providing prior notice, this will also be considered a "no-show", and they will be charged the full session fee.

7. Frequent Cancellations and No-Shows If a student fails to attend multiple lessons within a billing cycle, NB tuition reserves the right to cancel, at their discretion, any scheduled lessons.

8. Changes to the Cancellation Policy NB Tuition reserves the right to modify or update this cancellation policy at any time. Clients will be notified of any changes to the policy in a timely manner.
